Tad Myers, a resident of South St. Paul, Minnesota, has
been playing the pipes for 25 years. He’s previously
played with two Grade Two bands, Midlothian Scottish
(Chicago) and Winnipeg St. Andrew’s (Canada).
Tad holds a degree in mechanical engineering from
the University of Minnesota. He was the Grade One
Champion Supreme in the Midwest United States in light
music and piobaireachd. Tad is currently the Pipe Major
of the Twin Cities Metro Pipe Band. He is a piping judge
for the Midwest Pipe Band Association, and he serves as
the Band Registrar for that organization as well.
