Piper Chandler Sievewright is a resident of New Berlin,
Wisconsin and has been playing the pipes for nine years.
He’s played with three bands prior to joining GMPB:
Celtic Nations Pipes and Drums, Chicago Celtic, and
Milwaukee Scottish. Chandler’s solo accomplishments
include: Champion Supreme in Grade Three and Grade
Two (Midwest Pipe Band Association), Balmoral Classic:
Third place in piobaireachd, and Milwaukee Fall Highland Gathering: Second
place in the medley contest. The major influence on Chandler’s playing is
receiving lessons from Pipe Major Adrian Melvin. In addition to playing the pipes
Chandler plays guitar, bass guitar, and mandolin, which he considers his hobbies.
He is a high school senior, who is home-schooled. An interesting fact about
Chandler is that he holds a second degree Black Belt in Hapkido.
