Snare drummer, Cameron Bolley, from Clarkston,
Michigan has been playing the drum for eight years.
He’s played with the following bands: Flint Scottish,
Burnett’s and Struth, City of Chicago, and Dowco
Triumph Street. While he was a member of these bands
they won the following: City of Chicago – 2012 - Grade
One U.S. Pipe Band Championship, Dowco Triumph
Street – 2013 - 9th place finish in drumming at the World
Pipe Band Championships. A highlight in Cameron’s
pipe band career was winning the North American
Grade One Best Drum Corps’ Title at Maxville, Ontario with the City of Chicago Pipe Band in 2011. His impressive solo achievements include: 2012 North American
Grade One Champion Winter Storm, made the finals in the Gold Medal Snare contest at Winter Storm, 2013, 2014, and second place in the Agnew Harrison Professional Snare Drumming Contest in Ontario, Canada in March of 2014. Major influences on Cameron’s playing are Jim Kilpatrick and Drew Duthart, son of the legendary, Alex Duthart. Cameron believes Greater Midwest has the potential todo great things, and he’s thrilled to be playing in a somewhat local band.
